VARSITY WANTS ILLEGAL REFINERIES LEGALISED-THE UNION NEWSPAPER

Nigeria stands to inherit clusters of illegal refinery sites in the Niger Delta if government enacts laws that would bring the refineries under regulation and make the practice a wholesome modular refinery industry.

Director, Centre for Gas, Refining & Petrochemicals, Institute of Petroleum Studies, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Godwin Igwe, said legalization of the practice would help stop crude oil stealing and make common petroleum products available at cheaper rates to Nigerian consumers.   DOWNLOAD
