Academic Programmes

CGRP-UNIPORT offers specialised training in Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, with programmes designed to meet the manpower and knowledge needs of the petroleum industry.

We offer MSc and PGD programmes in Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals.
The programme structure is modular for both Full Time and Part Time options.
Courses for each module are taught for 40 hours per week (Full Time option) with continuous assessments and examinations.
We offer our students internship training in industries so as to acquire practical experience.
Our research works are geared towards solving industry problems.

The aim of this Professional Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Post Graduate Diploma Programme is to provide graduates with broad based training required for sound refining and processing of crude oil and gas; as well as provide a solid base for higher education in this area.

M.Sc. Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals

The aim of this professional Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Programme is to provide graduates with broad-based training required for sound refining and processing of crude oil. The programme will produce competent and industry-ready Gas, Refining and Petrochemical processing graduates that will be fully prepared to work in the oil and gas industry at local and international levels.

PhD in Chemical operations

The aim of this Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals operations is to provide graduates with broad-based training required for sound knowledge, skills and expertise in gas processing, crude oil refining and petrochemical production operations
