It was all accolades and praises on our Batch 6 students as they concluded their internship programme.
The students who worked conscientiously during their internship, in one of the companies, were adjudged as one of the best batches in both performance and dedication to duty. While presenting their final report to the company, they pointed out some of their observations in the company.
These observations which were centered on operations and safety include leakages in the equipment causing frequent shutdown in operations. Safety and health challenges posed by the leakage of ammonia in this plant were also identified as an area of concern.
They further observed that Urea wastages were noticeable around the plant but, however, commended the company for their hospitality and maintenance of a high level of cleanliness despite the challenges. In response, the company promised to look into those grey areas and effect some of their recommendations.
